Zach Jones has forever changed our Wavez family. In honor of Zach, we commemorate his memory with the 'Z' in Wavez. Zach battled rabies for eight days before passing away on May 12, 2006. However, Zach Jones is defined not by the way he died, but by the way he lived. It was Zach's character that touched his community, bringing it together in the midst of an unspeakable struggle to speak with one voice, a message that was literally worn on its back—"Pray for Zach." Z's character had no room for harsh judgment of anyone, and his empathy for family and friends seemed boundless.
