The Walden Wavez is a competitive summer swim team that has a 9- week season from April 21nd to the end of June each year. 

The Walden Wavez Swim Team is for families residing in Walden on Lake Houston and surrounding neighborhoods that do not have their own team. Walden Wavez coaches work on teaching correct stroke technique in all four strokes, swimming skills like starts and turns, and improving endurance. The coaches also emphasize teaching the value of sportsmanship and team spirit - all in a fun and friendly environment. Swimmers compete in swim meets against other (NWAL) teams in the North-East Houston area.

Parents are an important part of the success of the team as the Walden Wavez are a volunteer run organization. Thank you for your support!

The Walden Wavez are excited to announce another 50/50 raffle! Last year, the pot was around $8,000, and the winner received nearly $4,000! Tickets are priced at $10 each. You can purchase tickets from Monica Gressett at the pool or email her with the number of tickets you'd like, and we'll make sure your entry is submitted. We accept multiple payment methods, including cash, Zelle, and Venmo.
